SECTION 228 OF THE FINANCE ACT, 2016 – AMENDMENT TO FOREIGN EXCHANGE MANAGEMENT ACT, 1999 – NOTIFIED DATE ON WHICH PROVISION OF SECTION 229 OF SAID ACT SHALL COME INTO FORCE

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 228 of the Finance Act, 2016 (28 of 2016), the Central Government hereby appoints the 22nd day of November, 2016, as the date on which the provision of section 229 of the said Act shall come into force.
