Subramani Sivakumar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (‘ICAI’), a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (‘ICSI’), an Associate Member of the London based Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (‘CISI’) and a law graduate (LL.B) from the Bangalore University. During his 27 years’ post qualification experience spanning several industries, Sivakumar has held senior level positions in many Groups like Murugappas, TTK, Gokaldas Images, ClearMist and Reva Electric Cars. Sivakumar had held CFO level positions over the last 15 years. He has handled several important and prestigious assignments including raising of foreign equity of millions of dollars for his employers, organizing substantial loans from the banking sector, setting up of companies in India, handling complicated tax assessments, appeals, etc. He has written extensively on taxation and finance related issues in leading dailies and tax journals and his articles have been carried by well-known publications and portals like The Hindu Business Line, The Economic Times, Tax India Online, Service Tax Review, Excise Law Times, Tax Management India, VAT and Service Tax Cases, Goods and Service Tax Reports, the Quarterly Review published by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (‘CREDAI’) and the Quarterly Magazine published by National Real Estate Development Council (‘NAREDCO’) working under the Government of India.
